Indigenous communities already face challenges reclaiming their languages—choosing a compatible typeface shouldn’t be one of them.  Animikii’s Lead Designer Tom Spetter conducted extensive research to identify typefaces that are compatible with diverse characters used by Indigenous languages. The results were compiled into a PDF e-book including a list of the typefaces, a font sample showing the various weights and font styles, with links to download or purchase each font. We offer this free guide to community members, designers, and their collaborators here.
